The SND Opera Orchestra is a top musical group whose main task is to accompany opera and ballet performances in the Slovak National Theatre. With our quality and professionalism, we contribute to the creation of unforgettable theater experiences for our audiences, and with the help of our music, they convey stories to the hearts of the audience.
Key functions of our work
- Musical accompaniment for opera performances: The orchestra of the SND Opera is an integral part of opera productions, where it provides live musical accompaniment for singers and creates the atmosphere necessary for a theatrical experience.
- Accompaniment for ballet performances: During ballet performances, the orchestra interprets classical and modern musical works, which are the basis for dance choreographies.
